luxury accommodation

Have you ever given much thought to your dream destination? I say destination and not holiday, because I would ideally like to live in my dream destination for a couple of months, maybe a year, just enough to soak up the culture, or at the very least be in the position to say:” I briefly lived in Japan.”
In my fantasy, I am invited to Japan to work in an artist’s residency at a prestigious, although not pretentious art institution. Or I could be invited there by a gallery frequented by serious art collectors, to work on creating a solo show.

But what is the point of living in a vibrant, energetic city like Tokyo without some prime luxury accommodation in which to rest after a day of soaking up the city sights? My ideal form of accommodation while living in my ideal city is definitely the Park Hyatt, this is one of the best luxury accommodation hotels in Tokyo. The Park Hyatt is also the hotel where many scenes from ‘Lost in Translation’ were filmed. If you have watched this movie as often as I have you will be familiar with the quality luxury accommodation available at the Park Hyatt.

The Park Hyatt, Tokyo occupies the top 14 floors of the Shinjuku Park tower, so you are guaranteed to have great views of the city from your hotel room. Tokyo’s public advertising strategy seems to rest on the methodology that only the brightest flashing lights will get the viewers’ attention and with a population of 12,790,000, that’s a lot of attention to compete for and a lot of multi colored illumination as a result. Imagine the view of the city at night? In my opinion, Tokyo has claimed the title from Paris and now reigns as the city of lights. In my opinion, this nightly light display should be appreciated from a luxury accommodation hotel room from, at the very least, 14 floors above ground level.
